Drafting a collection launch email for Zavare
A launch email is often the first real test of a new fashion brand. This guide walks through three decisions that make the message clear, honest and easy to act on, with one worked example.
01
Decision one: choose a single lead promise
Begin by deciding what one thing the reader should remember. A collection might be ten linen-blend pieces in sand, olive and ink, made for warm-weather workdays. That sentence becomes the subject line and the opening paragraph. Resist listing every item immediately. Worked example: the subject reads Ten pieces for warm workdays, and the first paragraph names the palette, the fabric family and the date the collection opens. Avoid claims you cannot support, such as stock levels or delivery speed, unless the terms are real and written plainly beneath the offer.
02
Decision two: show the pieces with practical detail
Select three hero items rather than the entire range. For each, give one image, a short line on fabric and cut, the size range and the price. In the worked example, a relaxed shirt, a wide-leg trouser and a light jacket are shown, each with a sentence on how it pairs with the others. Add a small note on sizing guidance and returns so hesitant readers find answers without clicking away. Detail builds trust more effectively than adjectives, and it lets Zavare sound confident without exaggeration or borrowed prestige.
03
Decision three: set one action and a follow-up
Close with a single button that matches the stage of the launch, such as View the collection, Join the early list or Reserve a pre-order. Pick one, because competing links dilute response. In the worked example, the button opens the collection page, and a short second email three days later highlights one piece with a fit note from the maker. Include a plain unsubscribe line and the business contact. Afterward, review which item drew the most clicks and replies, then let that guide the next drop rather than assuming what shoppers want.
